Dear Mama,
This is the first of many.
I know you don’t hear it much, but you are doing an incredible job.
I see you—the late nights, the early mornings, the in-between moments where you’re holding it all together even when it feels like you might fall apart. I see the way you put everyone else first, the way you love so deeply, and the way you give without asking for anything in return.
But today, I want you to pause.
I want you to take a deep breath and soak in these words: You matter. Not just as a mother, not just as a caretaker, but as a woman, as a person with dreams, needs, and a heart that deserves to be filled too.
I know the weight you carry—the endless to-do lists, the invisible mental load, the pressure to be everything for everyone. But let me remind you: You don’t have to do it all, and you don’t have to do it alone.
It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to say, “I need a moment.”
Because, mama, you are worthy of love, care, and grace—just as much as you give it to everyone else.
So, consider this the first of many love letters to you—a reminder that your strength is seen, your sacrifices are appreciated, and your presence is enough. You are enough.
Take care of yourself today, even in the smallest of ways. Pour into yourself like you pour into others.
With love,
Butter Me Mama
